Clinical Supervision
I offer individual and dyadic clinical supervision to Qualifying Registered Psychotherapists and Interns aiming to meet CRPO requirements for registration. My supervision approach is collaborative and relational with focus on supporting supervisees to develop their clinical skills, professional identity, and ethical competence.
I draw on Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory to support supervisees working with clients experiencing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, trauma, relational concerns, and interpersonal challenges etc. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where exploration, self-reflection, emotional awareness, and critical thinking is encouraged. I tend to focus on the person of the therapist, as much as their clinical skills because I believe that who we are influences how we show up in the therapeutic space.

Therapeutic Approaches
Below is a list of therapeutic approaches I use:
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in response to specific situations or issues i.e., the way one thinks, impacts feelings, and actions; and vice-versa. Cognitive behavioural therapy teaches coping skills to address unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Emotion Focused therapy (EFT)
Emotion focused therapy views emotions as core indicators of what individuals need and find meaningful. This approach focuses on identifying, understanding, and regulating emotions to improve overall wellbeing and relationships.
Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy aims to view individuals as separate from their presenting concerns by encouraging externalizing issues rather than internalize them. The distance from the presenting issues caused by externalizing them, allows individuals clearer view of how these issues impact them i.e., the purpose the issues serve and what sustains them.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR involves the use of eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to activate the left and right side of the brain to support the nervous system to process traumatic memories/experiences and current triggers.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT)
Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) is a goal-oriented approach that focuses on solutions rather than the problems. This approach places emphasis on current circumstances and future expectations.
Somatic Regulation
Somatic Regulation encourages awareness of how presenting issues are stored in the body or show up in the body. Attending to the body to address presenting issues ensures that the body and mind are synchronized and stress in the body is minimized.
